We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Associate Director of Event (Catering & Conference) Services to join our Pier Sixty-Six opening team!
Reporting into the Director of Event Services you will take a lead role in project managing of Event Services. This role functions as the strategic business leader of the property’s Event Services. Position supports the development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives. The position supports the mission that the Event Services operation meets the brand’s target customer needs, ensures employee satisfaction, and focuses on growing revenues and maximizing the financial performance of the department.
The Associate Director of Event Services (Events) will assist in overseeing aspects of the Event Services Department. This includes the secondary selling, servicing and financial management of the events taking place at the Pier Sixty-Six Resort. This leadership role requires vision and financial planning skills as well as excellent communication skills and people leadership. Financial acumen is essential for success in planning for an executing upon an operating budget for sale and servicing of event spaces.
