We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Banquet Assistant Manager to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort team!

Reporting to the Director of Banquets, you will manage and provide support to all areas of Banquets. As a Banquet Assistant Manager you will oversee the execution of events, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction while upholding the luxury standards of our resort throughout our indoor and outdoor banquet spaces.

• Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) in detail, ensuring seamless communication of all event specifics with departments.
• Host pre-function meetings with staff and clients to align expectations and service flow.
• Collaborate with culinary, beverage, AV, and decor teams to execute elegant, personalized events.
• Ensure every team member anticipates guest needs without being prompted.
• Maintain perfect table settings: wrinkle-free linens, polished silver, spotless glassware, and precisely aligned place settings.
• Guarantee staff are polished in appearance, with immaculate uniforms and professional demeanor.
• Personally greet VIP guests, event hosts, and high-profile attendees to ensure personalized experiences.
• Respond to guest requests with discretion, warmth, and urgency.
• Lead, train, and inspire a high-performing banquet team
• Conduct daily pre-shift briefings focused on guest profiles, service standards, event objectives, and luxury expectations.
• Cultivate a culture of refinement, confidence, and discretion among staff.
• Recognize and coach employees regularly to maintain peak performance and team morale.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in Luxury Resorts/Hotels with Events
