Partner with management to oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth flow across all outlets.
Assist in supervising and training servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
Step into guest-facing roles during rushes — hosting, serving, or leading the bar team when needed.
Maintain operational efficiency in service areas, including floor flow, table arrangement, and side-station readiness.
Support inventory control for craft cocktails, wine, local beer, and pantry — ensuring up-to-date deliveries and minimal waste.
Assist in developing and executing creative service nights (like DJ brunches or themed dinners).
Collaborate with General Manager on scheduling, budgeting, and service strategy to meet revenue and hospitality goals.
Handle guest feedback and operational challenges with composure and resolution.
Uphold standards for cleanliness, safety, and employee performance.
Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in restaurant leadership (preferably upscale or creative dining).
Excellent knowledge of service techniques and bar operations.
Strong communication, adaptability, and guest engagement skills.
Passionate about ARLO's playful, quality-driven culture and San Diego spirit.
Ability to shift between varied roles and motivate a team in fast-paced environment.
RBS certification preferred.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Expect to stand, walk, and stay active throughout a full shift (6–8 hours or more).
Must be able to lift, carry, and support up to 30 lbs, including trays, beverage cases, and equipment.
Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and maneuvering across dynamic service areas — indoor and patio platforms.
Comfortable working in varied climates and sounds — whether indoors during dinner or outdoors at brunch under palm fronds.
Ready to step in and assist with service tasks, floor setups, or guest seating as needed during high-volume events.
