Supervise and coordinate banquet staff during setup, service, and breakdown phases of events.
Ensure all banquet spaces are arranged precisely to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and layout standards.
Lead pre-event briefings, assign staff duties, and manage staffing levels to meet event needs.
Monitor guest experience on the floor, promptly addressing questions, requests, or adjustments.
Serve as the primary contact with event planners and clients before and during functions to ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen, stewards, catering, and other departments to maintain service excellence.
Uphold safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations throughout all operations.
Manage inventory of banquet equipment, supplies, and linens; report discrepancies promptly.
Mentor and train banquet staff on service standards, problem resolution, and best practices.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in banquet or event service leadership at a resort or large venue.
Strong supervisory and team-motivation skills in high-volume environments.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and guest service abilities.
Ability to stay calm, decisive, and solution-oriented under pressure.
Flexible schedule is a must—events often include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout shifts.
Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing stairs across event spaces.
Must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs, e.g., trays, linens, equipment.
Comfortable working in dynamic environments—conference centers, ballroom floors, banquet halls, and outdoor spaces.
