The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the People Services Department (HR). The Admin. Assistant will have areas of full responsibility as well as marginal responsibilities outlined below.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the highest level of service to all associates
  • Serve as a point of contact for all People Services visitors
  • Ensure all standards of the resort are upheld
  • Maintain all filing, name tags request, etc
  • Answer People Services incoming calls, phone lines
  • Replenish departmental forms and documents, assistance with creation of new hire packets and Orientation materials, as needed
  • Run monthly employee birthday and anniversary reports
  • Process Associate Rate Program Benefit Forms for Employee Room Reservations
  • Place monthly office supply orders and generate purchase orders for HR expenditures
  • Maintain inventory of nametags, timecards, birthday cards, anniversary cards, etc.
  • Update resort announcements, bulletin boards, and reader boards
  • Maintain employee locker inventory
  • Assist with Employee Relations events and activities
  • Pick up and send out incoming and outgoing mail
  • Other special projects as assigned

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support the day-to-day operations of the People Services office

Qualifications

  • Administrative experience required
  • General knowledge of California employment practices, regulations and standards
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Organization and excellent time management skills
  • Team Oriented
  • Communicate fluently and clearly in English
  • Ability to handle confidential information with extreme discretion
  • Strong ability to multi-task, to be flexible and adapt well to change
  • Work with little to no supervision
  • Strong decision making and good judgment skills
  • Dependable self-starter
  • Proper telephone etiquette 
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • High School Graduate of GED
  • Minimum one year Human Resources experience in a complex resort setting or equivalent

Compensation:

Base Pay Start Rate: $25.50/Hr.
