Overview

CoralTree Hospitality is seeking a Line Cook to join our culinary team at Outbound Stowe. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to our recipes and standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure food safety.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients for service, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Culinary school diploma or relevant certification is a plus.

Hourly Rate: $24.00/hour
