Job Summary:


The Latitude Restaurant Manager supports the General Manager and/or Assistant Director of F&B in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest service, smooth execution of food and beverage service, and effective staff management. This role acts as a floor leader, coordinating team performance, handling guest interactions, and ensuring adherence to resort standards. The Restaurant Manager also assists with scheduling, training, inventory control, and the execution of service strategies that enhance both guest satisfaction and revenue goals.

 

Job Specifications:


Onsite: Black Desert Resort – Latitude
Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time
Pay Range: $65,000 – $74,000/year. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Lead front-of-house team members, providing training, coaching, and feedback.
  • Support scheduling, labor management, and payroll preparation to maintain cost efficiency.
  • Address guest concerns with professionalism, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure accurate communication of menu updates, service timing, and presentation standards.
  • Monitor and maintain restaurant cleanliness, health and safety compliance, and adherence to sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist in managing inventory, ordering, and controlling food and beverage costs.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and update staff on service expectations, promotions, or menu changes.
  • Support marketing and promotional initiatives to drive revenue and guest engagement.
  • Act as Manager-on-Duty in absence of the General Manager or Assistant Food & Beverage Director
  • Collaborate with resort leadership to ensure Latitude aligns with the overall Black Desert Resort guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably in luxury or upscale dining.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, wine service, and pairings preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, reservations software, and inventory management.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
