Sunriver Resort's Banquet Team is looking to hire a lead server! Come be a part of Oregon's Top 100 Businesses to work for in 2025! The Lead Server is responsible for ensuring the success of the banquets and banquet related food and beverage operations. They must follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing of food and beverages. The Lead Server will assist to maintain the AAA Four Diamond Standards.   They will be able to maintain business levels as a supervisor when Banquets Managers are not present.

• Maintains a commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction
• Promotes high associate morale
• Able to oversee multiple events assuring a quality guest experience
• Able to support schedule writing for service team
• Provide guidance with captains for leadership skills
• Must be able to lead meetings for service staff when captain in not present
• Ensures that all associates meet all established service standards
• Assist the Banquet Management team in proper staffing and scheduling
• Train and assist with the supervision of staff; including informing captain about challenges with guests or staff
• Communicate effectively with the captain to ensure proper communication with the kitchen
• Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurant menus and hours of operation
• Ensures food and beverage is served while maintaining a consistent presentation and proper temperature
• Delivers food and beverage items to guests
• Provides general resort information for guests
• Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of Sunriver Resort including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guest
• Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events
• Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
• Up sells other resort services and amenities to guests
• Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
• Communicates all pertinent information to the banquets team
• Attends appropriate resort, division and department meetings
• Resolves guest issues promptly and with great care and effectiveness; share issue and resolution with the captain
• Offers product knowledge of food and beverage to guests
• Follows Banquet Event Orders with strong attention to detail
• Ensures proper handling, cleaning and sanitation of equipment, china, glass and silver

• At least one year customer service experience required
• At least one year supervisory experience preferred
• At least six months food & beverage experience required
• Prior banquets experience preferred
• Must possess valid OLCC card
• Must possess valid Food Handler’s card
• Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
• Must be highly detailed orientated
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, sun, heat);
• Must be able to work indoors or outside;
• Must be able to stand on feet and walk throughout the day,
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.;
• Must be able to bend, squat, push, pull frequently;
• Must be able to climb stairs and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis;
• Must be able to carry 40 plus pounds over shoulder repeatedly throughout work shift
