We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Lead Project Engineer to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort opening team!

 

This position assists leadership with the maintenance, repair, and operation of equipment and systems of the property

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the facility and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Manage adequate inventory of parts, supplies, tools, and material for projects. Must be able to respond to emergency situations, such as fire alarms, and other life-safety situations. Conducts walk-through and visually assesses the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structures of the property. Verifies completion of all projects and preventive maintenance in guestrooms, public spaces, meeting rooms, outlets, back of the house spaces, and grounds. Verifies completion of all repairs, replacement, and projects to offices and employee work areas.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five year of experience in construction, maintenance and related trades.  Experience in flooring, painting, millwork and construction. Must posses organizational skills, maintain a clean work environment and deliver a finished product suitable for a 5-star resort.

 

Work Environment:

  • The role involves both indoor and outdoor work, potentially in variable weather conditions.
  • Exposure to noise, fumes, and hazardous materials, requiring the use of personal protective equipment.
