Overview

The compensation for this position is $75,000- $85,000 plus incentive pay.

Responsibilities

The Owner Experience Manager will be responsible for developing, leading, and executing the homeowner acquisition and strategy to grow the inventory.  An active retention program is also a key part of the strategy. This person works to identify, solicit and recruit non-participating owners at Kaanapali Alii to join our rental program.  The role is responsible for securing new rental contracts by creating and cultivating relationships with realtors and other referral sources, soliciting potential homeowners directly and by working with the property managers to create a proactive process to grow our rental program.

 

The Owner Experience Manager will be the primary liaison between the operations teams and the homeowners collaborating with other company leaders to address any homeowner’s concerns regarding the physical condition of their residence.  This person will promote and advocate for residence enhancements to improve lodging quality ratings.  The Owner Experience Manager will work closely with homeowners, property leaders, and finance to ensure smooth and successful integration with CoralTree Hospitality.

 

Success will be achieved by actively fostering long term relationships with homeowners, realtors, property managers and CoralTree Hospitality through trust and execution.

Qualifications

  • 2- year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 8 years’ experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area OR 4-year bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Hotels and Restaurant Management, or related major; 6 years’ experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
  • Prior experience with condominium or real estate projects involving direct responsibility for homeowners or homeowner’s associations relations.
  • Must possess experience in sales or hospitality within upscale/luxury resorts. Prior experience in Hawaii is preferred.
  • He/she should excel in owner, guest and associate relations and must be resourceful, highly self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic and keen sense.
  • Prior experience and proficiency in sales and marketing, vendor/owner acquisitions, business development, market research, appointment setting, and performing presentations.
  • Requires excellent time and project management skills, as well as high quality written and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates leadership, organization, and management skills.
  • Demonstrates functional and productive skills using technology such as personal computers, smartphones, and software including Microsoft Office, Acrobat and DocuSign. Familiarity with hotel property management systems, purchase order and procurement systems and the ability to learn new software and related applications including work order and productivity systems.
  • Demonstrates functional knowledge of basic mathematics and analytical skills and experience involved with producing, forecasting, and tracking budgets, including a working knowledge of Excel or other spreadsheet programs.
  • Demonstrates functional knowledge of basic business procedures and financial statements.
  • Ability to effectively mange multiple tasks in a high-paced and continuously changing environment.
  • Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and team members in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner including executive team, homeowners, management, business partners and diverse group of hourly team members.
  • Flexibility to meet the property demands which may exceed a 40-hour work week, working rotating or multiple schedules to ensure optimal coverage and may include working weekends, evenings, holidays, or on-call situations.
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with homeowners, guests, vendors, and team members.
  • Ability to develop rapport and connect with guests, owners, and contractors.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to manage projects and establish priorities with diverse timelines and responsibilities.
  • Experience in problem solving with a pro-active approach to problem resolution.
  • Demonstrates good and consistent judgment in making business decisions.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must have valid Hawaii driver’s license and be insurable within the CoralTree Hospitality system.
