Responsibilities

  • Creating a warm and welcome to everyone and setting the tone for each guest’s experience.
  • Prepare and serve drinks to high standards and highlight promotions to guests.
  • Work with your restaurant colleagues to offer a seamless food service.
  • Set up your bar – stock up on all the supplies you’ll need, manage your inventory, and make sure all your equipment works.
  • Change beer barrels.
  • Look after your bar – keep it clean and tidy and make sure the alcohol is always secure.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Be ready to jump into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your help.
  • Always follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

Flexibility: This is a fast-paced, demanding environment, so flexibility with workdays and hours is important—but it’s also a fun and rewarding place to work.

Experience: A minimum of two years of bartending or relevant beverage service experience is required.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of mixology, beer, wine, responsible alcohol service, sanitation standards, and bar equipment.

People Skills: Drinks are meant to be shared. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented, personable individual who enjoys engaging with guests, takes pride in their craft, and can adapt to a flexible schedule.

Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry items up to 50 pounds, reach, bend, and perform repetitive motions.
