Overview

The Pickleball Desk Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest service at the pickleball facilities, as well as ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests. S/he will register guests for pickleball courts, lessons and clinics. The Pickleball Hut Attendant will assist in maintaining the AAA Four Diamond Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and welcomes guests and members upon arrival
  • Maintains positive relationships with members and guests
  • Assists members and guests in booking reservations for pickleball courts, clinics or lessons
  • Assists members and guests in booking reservations for pool lanes and fitness classes
  • Explains pickleball facilities, programs, services and equipment to guests and members
  • Explains fitness facilities, programs, services and equipment to guests and members
  • Handles payment transactions for pickleball operations and ensures accuracy
  • Maintains strong knowledge of Pickleball department merchandise products and pricing
  • Assists in maintenance and upkeep of pickleball courts and surrounding areas
  • Maintains cleanliness and stocks towels and products in spa locker rooms
  • Maintains cleanliness and restocks towels throughout fitness center
  • Responsible for answering guest questions regarding pickleball operations, membership and retail
  • Answers Pickleball Desk phone line and directs calls appropriately
  • Up sells other resort services and amenities to guests
  • Provides general resort information to guests
  • Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • One year of customer service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the game of pickleball preferred

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

  • Must have their OLCC License
  • Must always ensure a teamwork environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Must be able to stand on feet and walk throughout the day, including some on uneven surfaces
  • Must be able to lift & carry up to 25 lbs on an occasional basis
