Hourly Pay Rate: $36.00

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Engineering Supervisor is to ensure our team is providing exceptional guest and homeowner services by effectively maintaining the machinery, equipment, and infrastructure within their designated scope with an emphasis on safety. The role is vital in upholding an efficient, dependable, safe, and conducive environment for our esteemed homeowners, valued guests, and respected team members. The Engineering Supervisor will lead projects, train new hires, provide guidance to engineering staff, and directly assist/report to the Chief Engineer. 

Qualifications

  • Valid Hawaii State Driver's License and acceptable driving record required
  • College degree or 6-8 years of experience in related field preferred
  • Strong mechanical ability
  • Experience in areas such as: building maintenance, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, air conditioning, masonry, painting, carpentry, and basic lock repairs
  • Knowledge and skills in safely using hand/power tools and other materials required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills to guide team members, train new hires, and lead projects
  • Ability to establish priorities with diverse timelines
  • Significant experience in diagnosing, research and problem solving
  • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision
  • Ability to provide precise directions
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work cohesively with team members
  • Flexibility for scheduling
