Overview

Prepare and serve alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic beverages in a variety of settings as part of the banquets and events team. Always maintaing Suncadia's established service standards and ensuring each banquet event goes above the client expectations.

 

Salary: $18.00/hour + Grat

 

This is a Seasonal position with targeted start and end dates:

  • Season Start: February 1 – May 15
  • Season End: October 31

Hours will fluctuate as business levels rise and fall throughout the season. Peak season, with the most hours, is typically May – October.

Responsibilities

  • Meet all established service standards; 
  • Prepare all beverages served in the area of responsibility; 
  • Maintain control of bar area, clientele, guest service, and atmosphere; 
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar area; 
  • Perform tasks necessary for opening and closing of the bar to the satisfaction of administration and within inventory needs; 
  • Comply with all Washington State labor, health and safety regulations; 
  • Comply with all Suncadia policies and procedures; 
  • Secure payment for served product; 
  • Maintain issued bank. 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned. 

Qualifications

 

  • Current Washington state food handler permit required
  • Current Washington state liquor license required
  • Bartending experience preferred
  • Knowledge of mixology
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to work well with others and function well in fast paced environment
  • Able to communicate well with team members and customers
  • Able to work flexible hours and days 
  • Knowledge of food and beverage products 
  • Knowledge of property-wide facilities and services 
  • Possess excellent telephone and organizational skills
  • Must have a valid US Driver's License
