Overview

 

Join us poolside this summer! The Quarry Pool is hiring a seasonal, energetic Pool Attendant to help create a fun and welcoming experience for our guests. This position offers both full‑time and part‑time seasonal opportunities. The Pool Attendant is often the first point of contact for guests and owners at the Caldera Springs Quarry Pool and Fitness Center.  They will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and assisting guests with recreational equipment.  The Pool Attendant will maintain the AAA Four Diamond standards.

 

 

The pool attendant will always conduct themselves in a manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Open & Honest Communication, and Commitment. He/She/They shall strive to deliver exceptional service to all internal and external guests at all times. In this role, they are responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture and actively supporting our Vision and Mission to be the destination of choice for our guests, owners, and associates.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Must maintain a professional and friendly attitude towards all owners and guests 
  • Assist with daily cleaning of the pool and spa deck
  • Cater to the needs and special requests of all owners and guests
  • Must be able to function alone as well as an effective team member.
  • Perform opening and closing duties of the Quarry Pool and Fitness Center
  • Responsible for care, maintenance and cleanliness of pool area and fitness center and locker rooms. This may include cleaning the men’s and women’s locker rooms including shower stalls, toilets and urinals, mirrors, sinks, counter tops and floors if needed. May also include replacement of towels, toiletry amenities, shower soaps etc.
  • Clean & sanitize exercise equipment.
  • Enforces pool rules in a polite and professional manner

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least one year customer service experience preferred
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Prior pool/spa experience preferred

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the guests and associates
  • Red Cross/CPR Certified (SRLP will provide training).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking;
  • Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs. with assistance;
  • Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and occasional squeezing & overhead reaching;
  • Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis;
