Overview

Join us at our newly renovated Spa and become the welcoming face of our guest experience as our Spa Desk Coordinator! The Spa Desk Coordinator is responsible for greeting guests and members in a friendly and professional manner. They will book spa and fitness reservations and perform reception and locker room attendant duties for The Spa at Sunriver Resort. The Spa Desk Coordinator will maintain the AAA Four Diamond standards.

 

 

The Spa Desk Coordinator will always conduct themselves in manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Open & Honest Communication, and Commitment. He/She/They shall strive to deliver exceptional service to all internal and external guests at all times. In this role, they are responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture and actively supporting our Vision and Mission to be the destination of choice for our guests, owners, and associates.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and welcomes guests upon arrival
  • Accepts payment from guests
  • Books spa appointments
  • Distributes spa robes and slippers
  • Gives guests a tour of the facilities as required
  • Oversees general cleanliness of the building
  • Cleans Locker Room when needed
  • Cleans Oasis Room when needed
  • Cleans Fitness Center when needed
  • Cleans and tidies all other areas of the spa, when needed, to ensure a clean environment for all guests and team members
  • Explains spa services to guests
  • Answers questions on spa retail products
  • Calls guest prior to appointment to confirm date and time of service
  • Maintains strong knowledge of all spa services, including benefits and uses of each
  • Uses POS system to ring up retail merchandise and check guests out from services
  • Explains fitness classes to guests
  • Maintains knowledge regarding fitness class schedules
  • Schedules fitness classes and lap swim reservations for members and guests
  • Assists Director and Manager in retail duties
  • Contacts appropriate party, if necessary, when a guest problem is reported
  • Answers incoming guests calls and transfers appropriately
  • Pours beverages for guests when ordered
  • Places food delivery orders for guests as needed
  • Provides general resort information for guests

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior Spa and/or Fitness Club experience preferred, but not required
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • At least 2 years customer service experience required

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

  • Must have excellent phone etiquette
  • Must have their OLCC License
  • Must have strong computer skills
  • Must be highly detail-orientated
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include evenings, weekends and holidays

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Can stand as needed with intermittent periods of walking, and climbing stairs, occasionally needing to stand for periods up to 8 hours.
  • Must be able to lift, carry push & pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently.
