Overview

Cutalong at Tributer Resort is a newly opening destination resort committed to providing an exceptional, welcoming experience for members and guests. We are seeking detail-oriented and dependable Housekeepers to ensure all facilities are consistently clean, organized, sanitary, and guest-ready. This role supports the daily upkeep and turnovers of guest accommodations, daily upkeep of the clubhouse, locker rooms, employee restrooms, and other guest amenities. It also entails occasional cleaning of event spaces and residential homes.

Responsibilities

Clubhouse:

  • Clean and sanitize clubhouse interiors, including lobbies, lounges, golf shop, hallways, dining areas, restrooms, and locker rooms.
  • Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish floors, furniture, and fixtures on a routine schedule.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to facility procedures.
  • Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner while performing duties.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of offices and outdoor areas as assigned

 

Guest Accommodations:

  • Clean on-site residential homes as assigned, including changing bed linens and performing general housekeeping tasks.
  • Complete room and supply inventories after guest departures.
  • Strip beds and replace linens, including sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, and mattress protectors according to resort standards. Make beds neatly and consistently to presentation guidelines.
  • Clean and sanitize all bathroom areas, including toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, mirrors, countertops, and high‑touch surfaces. Additionally, sanitize high‑touch items such as door handles, light switches, remote controls and thermostats.
  • Replenish guest amenities such as towels, toiletries, tissues, and bathmats.
  • Dust and wipe all surfaces, including furniture, headboards, lamps, mirrors, windowsills, and décor.
  • Vacuum carpets and rugs or sweep and mop hard flooring.
  • Empty trash and replace liners.
  • Restock in‑room items such as coffee supplies, glassware, and promotional materials as required.
  • Inspect room for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance needs and report issues promptly.
  • Ensure room is staged, odor‑free, and guest‑ready before release.

 

Laundry:

  • Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and store linens, towels, and other resort laundry items according to established procedures and sanitation standards
  • Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear; remove damaged items from service and report shortages or replacement needs.
  • Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely, including washers, dryers, and folding stations.

 

General Responsibilities:

  • Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and PPE properly according to training and safety standards.
  • Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors or maintenance staff.
  • Ensure all assigned areas are guest-ready, especially during peak periods or events.
  • Assist with setup and cleanup of event spaces before and after functions.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments as needed.
  • Follow all department policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, especially in hospitality or resort environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
