Job Summary

Responsible for assisting in the entire operation of the property, with support from accounting, sales and marketing, and people services; orchestrating and maintaining distinctive and memorable service and operational standards; and realizing the objectives of the ownership group. Further, embracing CoralTree Hospitality’s vision and commitment to service excellence.

Internal relationships

To supervise, assist, direct and inspire the team at Top of the Village to maintain and ensure a high level of service and profitability. To coordinate and communicate regularly with the Area General Manager, along with all managers, other senior company leaders, and the owners and guests.

External environment

The Assistant General Manager will experience a tremendous amount of contact working with guests, staff members, and various individuals and groups throughout the Snowmass Village community.

Required attributes

The Assistant General Manager must possess exceptional leadership skills in general resort operations, guest service and associate relations. They must be resourceful, highly self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic and sense of urgency, exceptional written/verbal communication skills, and be able to guide and direct work teams, individuals and global property operating departments to achieve financial objectives. The Assistant General Manager must possess a track record of providing exceptional service experiences balanced with operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in achieving property financial/business plan goals and expectations as established in the annual business plan for all areas of responsibility and organize/implement strategic and tactical plans to facilitate this aim.
  • Work with the Area General Manager on the operating success of the property.
  • Provide innovative/creative thinking and strategies to effectively differentiate the property from its competitive set.
  • Effectively represent the property in the local community, regionally and nationally.
  • Ensure the property is operated safely and securely according to property and company safety standards.
  • Oversee the owner statements provided monthly to owners in the rental program. Review work orders from housekeeping and maintenance to ensure accuracy.
  • Assisting in conducting Board meetings and taking meeting minutes.
  • Build a strong relationship with the ownership group and the Board of Directors. Work with them to better understand any concerns and how we can improve those relationships.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000/annually, based on experience.
