Overview

The Concierge serves as a key guest-facing team member, providing personalized service while supporting daily operations across hospitality, housekeeping, luggage handling, and guest activities. This role is hands-on and service-driven, ensuring an exceptional guest experience through flexibility, attention to detail, and teamwork. The Concierge also assists with waterfront and boating activities, including preparation and care of boats before and after guest use. 

Responsibilities

Guest Services & Concierge Duties 

  • Greet guests warmly and provide a high level of personalized service throughout their stay
  • Respond to guest inquiries and assist with making reservations for accommodations, on-site amenities and local experiences. 
  • Assist guests with requests, directions, schedules, reservations, and general inquiries
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively resolve issues to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain knowledge of on-site amenities, activities, and local attractions

Luggage & Arrival/Departure Support 

  • Assist guests with luggage during arrival, departure, and room changes
  • Transport personal items safely and efficiently
  • Maintain storage areas in a clean and organized manner

Housekeeping Support 

  • Assist housekeeping team as needed during peak times or special situations
  • Help with light cleaning, room staging, linen transport, and restocking supplies
  • Ensure public and guest-facing areas remain clean, orderly, and welcoming
  • Communicate maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly

Activities & Boating Assistance 

  • Support guest activities, including waterfront and recreational operations
  • Assist with boat-related duties such as preparing boats prior to guest trips, cleaning boats after use, and securing and covering boats when trips are completed
  • Serve as/ Support boat captains and activity leaders as directed
  • Follow all safety procedures related to boating and guest activities

General Operations & Team Support 

  • Be flexible in assisting other departments as operational needs arise
  • Uphold safety standards and company policies at all times
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment

Qualifications

Qualifications 

  • Previous hospitality, concierge, housekeeping, or guest services experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working outdoors and around water
  • Ability to lift and carry luggage and equipment as needed
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
  • Valid driver’s license; boating experience a plus but not required

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to approximately 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
