Overview

Magnolia Hotel Denver is seeking a strategic, results-driven Assistant Director of Sales (ADOS) to support the Complex Director of Sales & Marketing while driving Corporate and Citywide business development. This role is responsible for generating new revenue opportunities, growing market share, and building strong partnerships within key business segments while also supporting sales leadership, reporting, and office operations.

The ideal candidate is a strong seller with leadership potential who can balance direct revenue generation with team support and departmental strategy.

Hybrid – around 1 day per week work from home

Responsibilities

  • Drive Corporate and Citywide sales through proactive prospecting, account development, and relationship management
  • Develop partnerships with corporate clients, meeting planners, Visit Denver, and citywide stakeholders
  • Conduct outside sales calls, networking, site tours, and client presentations
  • Support the Complex DOSM with sales strategy, reporting, team leadership, and office management
  • Lead sales office functions in the absence of the Complex DOSM
  • Assist with forecasting, CRM management, pipeline tracking, and weekly reporting
  • Foster strong collaboration between Sales, Revenue, Catering, and Operations

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of full-service hotel sales experience, preferably in Corporate and/or Citywide sales
  • Proven success in prospecting, closing, and revenue generation
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to support team productivity
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and hotel sales platforms (CI/TY preferred)
  • Denver market knowledge preferred

Compensation: $95,000–$105,000 plus incentive plan
