Overview

Black Desert Resort is an ultra-premium destination resort in Southern Utah offering luxury accommodations, elevated dining, and personalized guest experiences. The Front Office team plays a critical role in ensuring seamless overnight operations while delivering exceptional hospitality to guests arriving and departing during overnight hours.

The Night Auditor supports both overnight accounting operations and guest service functions, including assisting with bell services and late-night arrivals.

 

Job Summary

The Night Auditor – Full-Time is responsible for overseeing overnight front office operations, completing daily accounting and system balancing functions, and ensuring exceptional guest service during overnight hours. This role assists guests with check-in and check-out processes, responds to overnight guest needs, and supports bell services for late-night arrivals and departures.

This position requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while maintaining Black Desert Resort’s ultra-premium hospitality standards.

 

Job Specifications

Onsite: Black Desert Resort
Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time Overnight
Pay Rate: $19.00 – $23.00/hour. This is the pay rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities including but not limited to

  • Complete nightly audit procedures and balance all resort financial transactions.
  • Reconcile guest folios, room charges, payment postings, and daily revenue reports.
  • Prepare and distribute overnight operational and financial reports.
  • Assist guests with check-in, check-out, reservations, and overnight requests.
  • Support bell services for overnight arrivals and departures including luggage assistance and guest escorting.
  • Provide room orientation and resort information to arriving guests.
  • Monitor lobby and front office areas to maintain cleanliness, presentation, and security awareness.
  • Respond to guest concerns, emergencies, or operational issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with Security, Engineering, and Housekeeping teams during overnight operations.
  • Process wake-up calls, guest requests, and internal communications.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest and financial information.
  • Uphold Black Desert Resort’s ultra-premium service standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous front office, night audit, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong guest service and communication skills.
  • Experience with PMS systems and basic accounting functions preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and remain organized overnight.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred for guest transportation or bell assistance duties.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts consistently.
