Overview

The Caldera Springs Grounds Maintenance Tech I repairs and maintains: pools/spas, pump rooms, machinery, plumbing, physical structures, grounds maintenance, community common spaces, lakes, streams, and water features. They will work to create a positive team environment, as well as achieving optimum performance. The Maintenance Tech I will assist with maintaining the AAA Four Diamond standards.

 

The Maintenance Tech I will always conduct themselves in manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Open & Honest Communication, and Commitment. He/She/They shall strive to deliver exceptional service to all internal and external guests at all times. In this role, they are responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture and actively supporting our Vision and Mission to be the destination of choice for our guests, owners, and associates.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, repair, and appearance of all physical property
  • Investigates failures in equipment and make required repairs
  • Communicate and work directly with supervisor/Director to make/schedule larger repairs
  • Performs preventative maintenance and repair tasks on equipment including, pools, pumps, maintenance vehicles, buildings, and other machinery
  • Provides maintenance and cleaning to parks, pool decks, parking lots, and pathways
  • Performs light plumbing repairs on fixtures pr piping including sinks, showers, tubs, hot water heaters, kitchen equipment and their associated components
  • Performs light electrical repairs on fixtures or wiring (120V) including lamps, fans, switches/dimmers, kitchen equipment and their associated components
  • Performs light repairs to woodwork, drywall, and finish work
  • Comply with all Sunriver policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Performs Snow removal
  • Performs other work related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic electrical, plumbing, and grounds maintenance needed.
  • Prior hospitality or customer service experience is a plus
  • Pool and spa experience preferred or ability to learn
  • Must have valid Oregon Driver’s license and meet company driving standards
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
