Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Lead the daily operations of multiple beverage outlets, bars, and lounges.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop bartenders, servers, and supervisors to deliver exceptional hospitality.
  • Create memorable beverage experiences through innovative cocktail menus, seasonal features, and premium spirit, beer, and wine programs.
  • Partner with culinary leadership to develop food and beverage pairings and promotions.
  • Maintain beverage cost controls through inventory management, purchasing, and waste reduction.
  • Monitor labor productivity while ensuring outstanding service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal alcohol regulations, including responsible beverage service.
  • Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities to grow revenue and profitability.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Events to create exciting beverage activations and resort experiences.
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness, safety, and operational standards throughout all beverage operations.

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of progressive Food & Beverage management experience with significant beverage leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience managing high-volume resort, hotel, restaurant, or entertainment venue beverage programs.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, cocktail development, and current industry trends.
  • Experience with beverage inventory systems, ordering, and cost management.
  • Proven leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing teams.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive during high-volume periods while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs, push and pull up to 40 lbs. Walking and stand on hard surfaces during the course of the day. 

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience opening new beverage concepts or redesigning cocktail programs.
  • Background in banquet and convention beverage operations.
  • Experience working in a luxury resort or destination hospitality environment.
