The Overnight Public Area Cleaning Supervisor oversees the overnight cleaning team to maintain elevated standards of cleanliness, presentation, and sanitation across all front-of-house and back-of-house public spaces. This role ensures high-touch and high-traffic areas, including the main lobby, public restrooms, Bacan restaurant, Garni / lounge areas, Nectar Pool Bar and other areas—are meticulously detailed, sanitized, and reset before morning operations begin.

· Lead Hands-On Cleaning Execution: Actively clean alongside the overnight team every night, leading by example and directly performing heavy-duty cleaning tasks, detailing, and sanitation across assigned public zones.
· Supervise and Direct Shift Operations: Coordinate and oversee the overnight public area attendants, assigning specific zones, detailing duties, and specialized nightly tasks to ensure complete coverage.
· Maintain and Clean Food & Beverage Outlets: Actively clean, detail, and inspect premier dining and lounge venues—including Bacan, Garni and Nectar Room—ensuring floors, baseboards, dining surfaces, host stations, and bar perimeter areas are spotless for morning service.
· Execute Deep Cleaning of Public Restrooms: Directly participate in and oversee the nightly scrubbing, sanitizing, polishing, and restocking of all lobby and public restrooms to maintain pristine luxury hygiene standards.
· Maintain Lobby and Entryway Presentation: Directly detail the main entrance, lobby lounge, elevators, and corridors, including dusting design elements, polishing glass and metal accents, and staging furniture to property specifications.
· Enforce Safety & Chemical Compliance: Model and enforce OSHA standards and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) procedures, ensuring all cleaning chemicals and equipment are handled, diluted, labeled, and stored properly.
· Manage Supplies, Linen & Equipment Care: Monitor nightly cleaning supplies and guest amenities, restock carts and custodial closets, and ensure all vacuums and commercial machines are emptied, cleaned, and properly stored after use.
· Coordinate Cross-Departmental Overnight Needs: Collaborate closely with Night Audit, Security, and Engineering to handle overnight guest calls, secure public spaces, and submit work orders for any facility or lighting issues.
· Facilitate Shift Transition & Turnover: Complete a nightly shift log summarizing hands-on projects completed, team attendance, supply needs, and maintenance tickets to ensure a smooth handover to the morning housekeeping leadership team.
· Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling, requirements, and use of equipment.
· Minimum 1–2 years of housekeeping or public area cleaning experience in a hotel setting, with team-lead experience preferred.
· Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays with high self-direction and attention to detail.
· Understanding in English both verbal and non-verbal.
· Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
· Ability to ascertain departmental training needs and provide such training
· Ability to direct the performance of staff and follow up with corrections when needed
· Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers

· While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to walk, stand, and sit 6-8 hours per day and may have exposure to basic office supply chemicals.
· The team member is occasionally required to climb and use balance. Additionally, they will frequently be asked to use their hands and arms to reach, carry, pull, and lift up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
