Overview

LAMUSE d’OR offers a French coastal dining experience at Kaiya Beach Resort in Inlet Beach, Florida. We are seeking knowledgeable, personable Servers to join our opening team and deliver polished service with warmth and confidence.

As a Server, you will guide guests through their dining experience, from menu recommendations and wine service to course pacing and payment. You will work closely with Server Assistants, Food Runners, the bar, and the kitchen to provide attentive, well-coordinated service.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests, review relevant guest notes and special occasions, and confirm allergies and dietary restrictions before taking orders.
  • Describe dishes, ingredients, sourcing, and preparation methods accurately; offer thoughtful food, beverage, and wine recommendations.
  • Take and enter all food, beverage, and dessert orders accurately in the POS, including seat numbers, courses, modifications, and allergy information.
  • Confirm special requests with the kitchen before making commitments. Coordinate course firing and pacing around guests’ preferences and table readiness.
  • Provide wine presentation, opening, tasting, pouring, and appropriate decanting; maintain strong knowledge of wines offered by the bottle and glass.
  • Lead coordinated food delivery, explain dishes, check guest satisfaction, and anticipate beverage and service needs throughout the meal.
  • Work with assistants and runners on table preparation, clearing, resetting, and timely service; assist with water and other tasks when needed.
  • Address concerns professionally and involve a manager promptly when support or resolution is needed.
  • Confirm bill accuracy and bar transfers, process payments and requested splits, and thank guests warmly at departure.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, maintain clean and stocked service areas, and participate in pre-opening training, tastings, and service briefings.

 

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant serving experience; experience in an upscale or fine-dining setting is preferred.
  • Confident food and wine knowledge, with a willingness to learn the complete menu and service standards.
  • Clear communication, accurate order handling, and the ability to coordinate several tables while remaining calm and attentive.
  • A team-focused approach, professional presentation, reliability, and a genuine interest in hospitality.
  • At least two years of restaurant serving experience preferred, including experience with upscale or fine dining service and multi-course meals.
  • Working knowledge of fine dining service sequence, table and seat numbering, course pacing, coordinated service, and discreet clearing and table maintenance.
  • Ability to explain ingredients and preparation methods accurately, communicate allergies and dietary restrictions, and offer informed food and wine pairings.
  • Practical proficiency in wine presentation, bottle opening, pouring, and appropriate decanting, with the ability to recommend wines confidently within a guest’s preferences and budget.
  • Proficiency in POS order entry, course and seat assignment, special-request communication, and accurate payment handling while coordinating multiple tables.
  • Polished communication and guest recovery skills, professional grooming and uniform standards, and the ability to complete required food safety, responsible beverage-service, and menu and service training.
  • Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, along with scheduled training.
  • Food Handler certification preferred.
  • Must be 18 years or older.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to walk and stand for 6+ hours per day.
  •  Additionally, they will frequently be asked to use their hands and arms to reach, carry, pull, and lift up  25 lbs.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member will experience temperature fluctuations (rain, wind, heat, humidity), and moderate to high noise levels.
