Overview

We are currently looking for Part Time Restaurant Servers! 
 
The Server at Bar Sierra Restaurant is responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service to guests. This role serves as a knowledgeable ambassador of the restaurant, ensuring guests feel welcomed, valued, and well cared for throughout their visit. Servers are expected to have a strong understanding of menu offerings, beverage selections, and daily specials while maintaining high standards of hospitality and professionalism.

 

Responsibilities

 
  • Greet guests promptly and create a warm, welcoming dining experience.
  • Present menus, explain food and beverage offerings, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
  • Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and management teams to ensure seamless service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and related workspaces.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Support team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

 

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and guest service skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, and carrying trays or service items.
  • Ability to work in a busy restaurant environment while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
