The Banquet Server's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: following all departmental rules and standards; serving all food and beverages in a timely and effective manner; clearing tables and returning all equipment to its respective areas; ensuring all banquet areas are cleaned and organized at all times; gathering all equipment necessary to service events; maintaining all equipment and ensuring it is clean and polished; ensuring all spill or hazardous areas are cleared immediately to maintain a safe environment; and ensuring all events are set in a timely manner, as specified by meeting planners and the departmental standards. The Banquet Server also performs additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs.


$23/hr (includes tips)



  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and move frequently from area to area.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to carry and balance dishware and glassware in the course of service.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds


Ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • One to two years' experience in a restaurant operation required, luxury hotels preferred.
  • High school or equivalent education required.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
  • Basic knowledge of food presentation, preparation and handling.
  • Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
