Responsible for arranging, executing, and supervising all indoor and outdoor guests’ activity games and functions, while providing privacy and safety. This includes Resort Activities, Group Events, and Kid’s Club.


  • Maintain complete knowledge of all recreation offerings and be able to clearly articulate to guests.
  • Facilitate activities including but not limited to guided hikes, lawn games, culinary challenges, Kids Club programs etc.
  • Knowledgeable about local history, flora and fauna.
  • Complete reservations, notify vendors, and check in guests accordingly.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
  • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
  • Set-up and close activity areas.
  • Work with Guest Services to ensure accurate reservations and booking process.
  • Maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Execute group teambuilding and activities events.
  • Be an ambassador of all recreation programming.


Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Flexibility with other aspects of the Resort Activities team upon request of supervisors.
  • Flexibility with other services not pertaining to guest services, but dealing with the hotel.


  1. Possession of high school diploma.
  2. 2 years recreation, childcare, hospitality or special event experience.
  3. Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.
  4. Provide legible communication.
  5. Ability to:
  • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
  • Communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Prioritize, organize, and exercise problem-solving skills.
  • Follow directions thoroughly.
  • Understand guest’s service needs.
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
  • Lift and move up to 50 lbs.
