This position is responsible for operation and repair of the irrigation system as a whole to insure proper water distribution as required for optimum turf health.

• Carry out daily irrigating assignments and understand how your assignment relates to that day’s play
• Recognize how the various equipment applications effect the water cycle selections for each job
• Inspect all water stations, report any damage and or lack of performance to a supervisor
• Create work orders for equipment repair and maintenance
• Operate specialized golf course maintenance equipment
• Complete special projects as assigned

• Strong irrigation background including repair, maintenance, installation, satellites, pumps, and central control
• Strong golf course background with experience in all phases of turf management program
• Experience with and the ability to operate specialized golf course turf management equipment
• Have current or be willing to pursue a Washington Pesticide Applicators License
• Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and work independently and cooperatively
• Current valid drivers license
• Ability to work flexible hours and days (to include weekends, holidays, and early mornings)
• Previous golf course maintenance experience
• Experience operating motorized vehicles
• Interest and knowledge of the game of golf
