The Restaurant Coordinator position will handle guest inquiries for dining reservations pre arrival along with any in house guest request for all venues. Additional administrative duties include working closely with incoming inquires for large party events for the venues along with monitoring Opentable reservations for consistency and accuracy. During the holiday season the primary role of this positon will consist of working at the holiday desk.

Responsibilities

  • Check restaurant reservation voice mail daily and follow up with guest request.
  • Check Terranea restaurants email daily and respond to emails.
  • Collaboration with the Call Center and Guest Service Concierges on venue guest request.
  • Provide daily Opentable VIP Report to department heads for all venues.
  • Create announcements for Food and Beverage offerings for holidays and special events.
  • Assist with handle all venue buyout events approved by the Director of Food and Beverage.
  • Attend the bi-weekly Food and Beverage Leadership meeting and provide updates on venues reservations.
  • Manage Opentable venue site pages ensuring all of the data on the website is accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with power points, spreadsheets, other documents regarding venue reservations as requested by the Food and Beverage and the Food and Beverage Director.
  • Manage holiday desk from November 1st thru January 1st

 

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead contact for Openable administrate duties for all venues to ensure all online menus are updated and accurate. Ensure that all pertinent data for venues are updated as needed.
  • Lead contact for FairHarbor administrative duties for all venue to ensure all offer details are accurate and up to date.
  • Administrative duties on Singleplatform to ensure all venue menus are update to date and current. Holiday and special menus are posted on a timely fashion and removed from the website accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must possess basic computational ability.
  • Must possess basic computer skills.
  • Requires organizational skills for a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to, scheduling meetings, effectively communicating to employees, and upholding Terranea standards.
  • Must be able to exhibit fairness and impartiality to employees.
  • Ability to prepare and analyze data, figures and transcriptions prepared on and generated by computer.
  • Knowledge of hotel Food and Beverage operations.
  • Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages.

Experience, Education, & Licensure:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role.
  • Must have basic knowledge the following applications
    • Opentable
    • FairHarbor
    • Single Platform
    • Birchstreet
    • All Microsoft applications
  • Must have valid state food handlers certification
  • Desirable criteria includes a college degree, certification of previous training in computers, previous guest relations training, previous experience in hospitality industry, preferably a 4/5 star hotel and familiarity with preparing statistical reports.

Compensation

Base Pay Start Rate: $19/Hr.
