Overview

You will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, overseeing dining room maintenance, and monitoring service to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet guests into the restaurant
  • Proactively support the restaurant team while monitoring dining room activity
  • Collaborate with team members to communicate any special needs or guest requests
  • Enjoy multi-tasking at a fast pace while maintaining an organized host stand or work area
  • Sincerely thank guests leaving the restaurant and invite them to return

Qualifications

  • Flexibility: This is a demanding business, and we look for flexibility with workdays and hours, but it’s also a lot of fun!
  • Experience: Previous experience passionately providing service to others preferred.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with restaurant terminology, alcohol /food service techniques and Food Handler certifications preferred.
  • People Person: The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expected.
  • Great communicator: Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through legible writing

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Must be capable of frequently carrying, lifting. pushing or pulling up to 25lbs, occasionally lifting 50lbs. Bending and moving intermittently. Use fingers to grasp, move or assemble very small objects. Must be able to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to an indoor and outdoor working environment and the noise level in the work place is usually moderate to high.

  • Typical equipment used include but are not limited to computers, POS systems, handheld devices, phones and household cleaning supplies.

Wage: $16.00-$18.00/hr + Gratuities
