The Overnight Maintenance Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and janitorial duties during the night shift. This role ensures that facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained for the next business day. The Overnight Maintenance Clerk may work independently or as part of a team, depending on the size and requirements of the organization.

Salary: $21.00/hour

• Floor maintenance: Vacuum, sweep, seal, and wax floors as needed. Perform carpet cleaning and spot removal. Monitor and address any safety hazards related to flooring Inspects machinery and mechanical equipment for defects.
• Replace light bulbs and ensure proper lighting in all areas, Report any issues with fixtures, appliances, or equipment for repair.
• Makes minor repairs on electrical or replaces wiring and fixtures.
• Paint walls, floors, woodwork, and fixtures of establishment.
• Conduct routine security checks to ensure all doors and windows are secure. Report any suspicious activities or safety concerns to the appropriate authorities.
• Cleans, lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys and other parts of machine, using rags, brushes and grease gun.
• Be prepared to respond to emergencies, such as spills, leaks, or other incidents that may occur during the night shift. Follow established protocols for emergency situations.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned
• Comply with all Suncadia policies, procedures, and safety regulations

• Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance roles preferred
• Ability to work the overnight shift, including on weekends & holidays
• Current Valid US Driver's License (driving record check required during onboarding)
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals
• 1-2 years experience performing a variety of maintenance activities
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools and industrial equipment
