Overview

Sunriver Resort is hiring a Starbucks Shift Lead! This position contributes to Starbucks’ success by assisting the Store Manager and Store Supervisor in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. This position deploys partners and delegates tasks so that partners can create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for our customers. The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • The Shift Lead will take the role as Person in Charge in the event that the Store Supervisor or Store Manager is not present.
  • Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture, values and mission of Starbucks and Sunriver Resort.
  • Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and set a positive example for the team.
  • Contributes to a positive team environment by developing positive relationships with the team by addressing individual motivation, needs and concerns.
  • Delivers excellent customer service to all internal and external guests by acting with a “customer comes first” attitude and connecting with our customers to make every moment right. Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
  • Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed. Provides feedback to Store manager on partner performance.
  • Keeps staff members on task and in their proper role for the successful operation of the store during scheduled shifts. Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned and ensures the Daily Tasks sheet is completed.
  • Provides clear and honest communication to the Store Supervisor and Manager in order to create a united Leadership team.
  • Assisting the Store Supervisor with the Food and/or Supplies order for the store.
  • Providing Inventory assistance.
  • The Shift Lead must maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality and must be flexible with shift times and dates.
  • The Shift Lead will follow Starbucks and Sunriver operational policies and procedures including those for cash handling and safety and security to ensure the compliance of all staff members while on shift.
  • Provides quality beverages and food products consistent with Starbucks mandated standards. Follows the health, safety and sanitation guidelines as laid out by QASA.
