Responsibilities

In this role you’ll:

  • Manage and coordinate the daily duties of the Housekeeping department
  • Perform ongoing quality inspections of units and takes corrective action as needed to address quality deficiencies
  • Maintain a strong working partnership with our property management, front desk, and reservations team
  • Plan and conduct morning stand-up meetings
  • Inspects VIP units prior to arrivals
  • Develop and implement controls for expense management
  • Prepare forecasts and reports
  • Develop annual housekeeping budget, ensuring compliance and profitability
  • Maintain an awareness of all safety and emergency procedures and his/her role in assisting during critical times
  • Ensure all housekeeping equipment is in proper working order
  • Assist with monitoring time punches in UKG, ensuring proper predictive scheduling policies are being followed and ensuring accurate payroll for all Housekeeping associates
  • Focus on quality by ensuring the entire team is well versed on housekeeping policies, procedures, and expectations
  • Develop, train, and lead a team with a focus on Tamarack Resorts values
  • Formulate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies aligned with Housekeeping objectives

Qualifications

The ideal candidate:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A two- or four-year degree from accredited college or university preferred
  • At least three years housekeeping experience required
  • At least two years of leadership experience
  • Must be bilingual
  • Highly organized and great attention to detail 
  • Problem solver with strong customer service mentality
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company driving standards
