Overview

Responsible for maintaining, organizing, and keeping quality control procedures with the inventory counts. Duties include fulfilling requisitions multiple times a day, unloading and organizing deliveries and checking incoming shipments against product invoices.  Inputting and auditing invoices and leading the inventory audits. Responsible for receipt and delivery of items at the Resort. Responsible for assisting the Purchasing Manager with all issuing and ordering of food and beverage.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain par levels of stock, complete requisition for additional supplies as appropriate.
  • Work to keep PARs accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure that all goods required to run the F&B department are available when necessary.
  • Track inventory movement by updating spreadsheets and software.
  • Check the proper operation of nitro, CO2, coolers and freezers daily.
  • Keep purchasing and storage areas clean and organized as per the set standards.
  • Keep compactors and loading dock clean and clear and in working condition.
  • Perform quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the set standards prep for return as needed.
  • Update inventory count and maintain inventory records to share with management.
  • Report discrepancies in inventory to management.
  • Keep pleasant relationship with vendors and pick up the liquor order weekly.
  • Code and upload all invoices as needed to software and maintain appropriate records for purchasing manager and accounting department.

  • Experience: High school diploma, 2+ years experience in inventory control.
  • Skills: Excellent math and analytical skills, competent on a computer and software programs, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work extended hours.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift 50 pounds or more, frequent bending climbing, kneeling, squatting, twisting/turning from waist and pushing/pulling objects. Will be working with hands and fingers, lifting, and moving objects horizontally and vertically on a regular basis. Near and far vision as well as good depth perception and color vision are important. Frequent use of senses. Ability to stand and move for long periods of time.
  • Forklift experience is beneficial, not required.
