South Florida’s beacon of hospitality, Pier Sixty-Six Resort is returning to Fort Lauderdale with an opening date of October 2024. From the famed superyacht marina to the iconic spires of the rotating Pier-Top lounge, a new world of elevated experiences is set to unfold around it. We are seeking a talented and innovative Graphic Designer to join our esteemed team at The Pier Sixty-Six Resort. Reporting into Director of Marketing, you will play a key role in bringing our luxury brand to life through captivating visual designs that evoke the elegance, sophistication, and exclusivity of our resort.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and create visually appealing designs for a wide range of marketing materials, including but not limited to:
  • Social media graphics
  • Website banners and visuals
  • Email newsletters and templates
  • Print advertisements
  • Brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials
  • Develop and maintain brand consistency across all design assets, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and visual identity standards.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas, propose creative solutions, and contribute to the development of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance the quality and effectiveness of our design work.
  • Work closely with external vendors, printers, and other suppliers to coordinate the production and delivery of print materials, ensuring high-quality output and timely execution.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to junior designers or interns as needed, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 1-2 years working as a graphic designer, either in-house or at a creative agency, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics and skilled at copywriting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Passion for design, creativity, and innovation, with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
  • This position requires the candidate to work onsite.
