South Florida’s beacon of hospitality, Pier Sixty-Six Resort is returning to Fort Lauderdale with an opening date of October 2024. From the famed superyacht marina to the iconic spires of the rotating Pier-Top lounge, a new world of elevated experiences is set to unfold around it. The lush 32-acre waterfront enclave will be home to the extraordinary luxury resort hosting 325 guest rooms, suites and villas, plus an exclusive collection of 91 Private Resort Residences, 12 restaurants and lounges, a luxurious spa, curated pool options and a waterfront promenade with retail and dining. In this position, you will orchestrate flawless operations, impeccable service, innovative programming and extraordinary culinary experiences that will ensure our guests revel in the epitome of luxury and sophistication. This role is responsible for all aspects of the club operation and requires exceptional leadership, management, and customer service skills to lead a prestigious private club to new heights.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with club members, ensuring their needs and expectations are met with excellence. Implement initiatives to enhance member engagement and satisfaction.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for member inquiries, feedback, and concerns, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the club's reputation, membership growth, and revenue generation.
  • Coordinate and oversee club events, including social gatherings, special dinners, and recreational activities, to provide memorable experiences for members and guests.
  • Develop marketing strategies to attract new members and promote club events and amenities. Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns effectively.
  • Immerse yourself in the pulse of owner and guest satisfaction, regularly reviewing and evaluating their experience at the Pier Sixty-Six Club.
  • Handpick, train, supervise, counsel, and discipline an exceptional team, handcrafted to uphold the unparalleled standards of Pier Sixty-Six Private Club.
  • Conduct inspiring pre-shift and department meetings, sharing information to the staff, including updates on esteemed member and guest arrivals, exclusive benefits, reservations, and menu offerings.
  • Direct staff with precision and finesse, meticulously assigning work assignments, ensuring optimal efficiency in every aspect of the club's operations.
  • Spearhead the profitability of the Pier Sixty-Six Private Club by implementing controls over food, beverage, and labor costs, while monitoring the club's budget to ensure seamless operations with a goal to surpass revenue targets and optimize labor expenses.
  • Maintain par stock levels by expertly calculating inventory, skillfully ordering, retrieving, and stocking products.
  • Continuously evaluate the cost-effectiveness of all operational elements, implementing innovative measures to enhance profits and drive savings.
  • Navigate the club's expansive premises and kitchen areas by monitoring and promptly rectifying any deviations from food quality and service standards.
  • Provide invaluable guidance for improvement, implementing necessary adjustments to maintain the highest standards of consistency.
  • Investigate and resolve any concerns regarding food quality and service, radiating warmth and positivity as you engage with members and guests.
  • Uphold an unwavering commitment to compliance, meticulously ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures governing the Pier Sixty-Six Club.
  • Remain vigilant in upholding local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as you cultivate a culture of cleanliness and impeccable sanitation in all work and service areas.
  • Champion innovation as you actively contribute to the development, implementation, and marketing of captivating new menu offerings, designed to surpass the expectations of our members and guests.
  • Create and uphold comprehensive standard operating procedures for the pools, decks, beach chair set-ups, and all food and beverage areas, ensuring a seamless and elevated experience.
  • Master the art of team member scheduling, deftly crafting weekly plans that harmonize the needs of all Pier Sixty- Six Private Club positions, optimizing efficiency while maintaining a harmonious work-life balance.
  • Exhibit unwavering dedication to providing a luxurious experience by collaborating seamlessly with ancillary departments, orchestrating a symphony of excellence that transcends expectations at the Pier Sixty-Six Club.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in senior management roles within the luxury hospitality industry, with specific experience in private clubs is required.
  • Proven leadership skills in a residences/hospitality environment is beneficial.
  • Proven track record of successful leadership, strategic planning, and financial management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a passion for delivering exceptional member experiences.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by club events and operations.
  • This position requires the candidate to work onsite. The ability to interact with members and oversee operations in person is essential for this role.
