Overview

You will work in a team-oriented environment and fully support and provide assistance to the sales team with administrative tasks, provide engaging customer service, and receive and qualify leads for sales or catering managers. You will also support the continuing effort to deliver distinctively different guest experiences and nurture lasting relationships with our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Create memorable experiences with a warm, welcoming personality that can relate to guests and all other departments.
  • Utilize the freedom to go beyond to take initiative to resolve guest opportunities and create loyalty.
  • Share your personal passions and knowledge of the services and amenities available to guests to help them feel comfortable, at home, and value. 
  • Collaborate with team members to communicate what you see and hear to staff and management to ensure the guests’ needs are met.
  • Promptly answer telephones and enthusiastically greet our guests with your personal spirit, however busy and whatever time of day.
  • Produce quotes and written confirmation to all clients.
  • Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads. 
  • Assist the teams at each property with the set up and tear down of on property events taking place either in the meeting spaces or public areas.
  • Assist the transient sales team with booking new reservations at either hotel when needed.
  • Coordinate and manage amenity deliveries on behalf of the sales team.
  • Attend all meetings as assigned by sales leadership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of previous Sales and Marketing coordinator experience required. 
  • College Degree in Business or Hotel Management preferred.            
  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
  • Proficient working knowledge of computers in a windows environment.
  • Ability to learn and master TripleSeat (CRM) and Fosse (PMS) and all other applications and systems as assigned.
  • Proven accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently, prioritizing tasks effectively to adhere to deadlines as determined by customers, sales team, and leadership.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven sales and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to function as part of a team.
  • Capable of setting priorities when multiple demands exist.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams across multiple properties.

Flexibility. This is a demanding business, and it requires you managing multiple priorities while meeting varying deadlines, but it’s also a lot of fun!

Experience. Previous experience passionately providing service to others and providing administrative support in a team-oriented environment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

People Person. The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expected.  To succeed in this role, you must enjoy interacting with others. 

Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through excellent written communication.
