Overview

LAPPER Restaurant is looking for an Expo/Busser. Join our culinary team as an Expo/Busser and become the conductor of efficiency and excellence in our bustling restaurant. As the liaison between the kitchen and the dining room, you'll ensure that every dish is delivered to guests with precision, timing, and attention to detail. From coordinating orders to expediting food service, you'll play a vital role in creating a seamless dining experience that delights our guests and keeps them coming back for more. #TownandcountrySD Pay Rate $16.85

Responsibilities

  1. Order Coordination: Receive food orders from the kitchen and organize them according to table numbers and seating assignments, ensuring accuracy and completeness before delivery to the dining room.

  2. Food Expeditor: Monitor ticket times and prioritize orders based on timing and guest preferences, coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes to tables.

  3. Quality Assurance: Inspect plated dishes for presentation, temperature, and garnishes before sending them to the dining room, ensuring that each dish meets our standards of excellence and matches the order specifications.

  4. Communication Hub: Serve as the central point of contact between kitchen staff, servers, and management, relaying information about special requests, dietary restrictions, and order modifications to ensure smooth execution of service.

  5. Table Maintenance: Assist servers with clearing and resetting tables, refilling water glasses, and providing additional utensils or condiments as needed to enhance the dining experience for guests.

  6. Guest Interaction: Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have and providing assistance with menu selections or special requests.

  7. Sanitation Compliance: Adhere to strict sanitation and food safety standards at all times, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the expo area and ensuring proper handling and storage of food items.

Qualifications

  • Availability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Food Handler's card, RBS
  • Ability to work well with others and function well in fast paced environment
  • Able to communicate well with team member and customers
  • Knowledge of food and beverage products
