Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with USTA points of contact, decision makers, influencers and associated customers serving as their main point of contact for all inquiries, requests, and requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly production report to USTA in a timely manner outlining production from each hotel.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and meetings with USTA to foster positive relationships and ensure alignment with mutual goals and objectives.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems while exercising good judgment and maintaining the best interest of the hotel.
  • Note any changes in the in the USTA market, channel, rate and report the trend changes to the Revenue Leaders.
  • Fully knowledgeable on USTA Commercial Strategy and Inventory Management and aligned with Director of Revenue’s holistic strategy.
  • Manage systems that are set up within the Sales, Revenue and Operations department to ensure accurate handling and monitoring of all reservations, including USTA group blocks, USTA transient production, USTA transient rate management, USTA Commercial strategy and USTA direct billing.
  • Create and manage rates in appropriate systems as per instruction of the Area Director of Revenue.
  • Responsible for managing USTA group pick up, cut off and billing.
  • Responsible for the proper use and maintenance of external systems CI/TY, sFa, Delphi, Fosse, lightspeed, Tripleseat, etc.
  • Monitor house inventory and Group/Event pickup based on Forecasted Revenue from appropriate statistical reports.
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate within department and with other departments and hotels’ associates to ensure that the daily challenges/changes/issues are handled.
  • Perform other duties as requested by his/her Director. 

Qualifications

  • Impeccable English verbal and written communication skills.
  • 3 years previous associate management experience.
  • Computer proficiency and navigation with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and department-specific programs, including, but not exclusive to Fosse, Tripleseat, SFA web, Group Housing/ResLink, etc
  • Possess the ability to work independently, as a contributing team member, and problem-solve.
  • Excellent telephone voice in terms of tone, clarity, pronunciation, and proper use of grammar.
  • Strong listening skills. Knowledge of mathematics.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, evening/early morning hours, and holidays.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

 

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to walk, stand, and sit 6-8 hours per day and may have exposure to basic office supply chemicals.

  • The team member is occasionally required to climb and use balance. Additionally, they will frequently be asked to use their hands and arms to reach, carry, pull, and lift up to 25 lbs.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member will experience temperature fluctuations (rain, wind, heat, humidity), and moderate to high noise levels.
