Overview

As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth and increase market share. You will lead a talented team of sales and marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their success.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Leading and motivating the sales and marketing teams to exceed targets and KPIs.
  • Identifying new market opportunities and emerging trends to capitalize on.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conducting market research and analysis to stay abreast of competitor activities and industry trends.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product development, finance, and operations to align sales and marketing efforts.
  • Monitoring and analyzing sales and marketing performance metrics, and making data-driven decisions to optimize results.
  • Developing and managing the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in sales and marketing leadership roles, with at least 10 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Deep understanding of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with high volume convention properties is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, marketing automation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
