Overview

Are you ready to help shape the future of travel and hospitality? CoralTree Hospitality is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement Program and Vendor Relations Manager.  This role is crucial for overseeing procurement program compliance, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring effective communication between leadership, management, property-level staff, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), and vendors. Responsibilities

  1. Ensure Hotel Procurement Program Compliance:
    • Monitor and enforce adherence to procurement program guidelines throughout the entire hotel portfolio.
    • Conduct routine audits and analyses of property participation, expenditures, and vendor selections.
  2. Generate and Distribute Monthly Procurement Reports:
    • Compile and distribute detailed monthly reports highlighting key metrics and performance indicators related to procurement.
  3. Facilitate Communication on Procurement Performance:
    • Effectively communicate program participation, improvement opportunities, and industry updates to both field and upper management.
  4. Conduct In-depth Analysis of Expenditures:
    • Perform comprehensive analyses of procurement expenditures, categorizing and assessing spending patterns to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  5. Deliver Training to New Hotel Management:
    • Develop and conduct training sessions for newly appointed hotel management, familiarizing them with procurement program guidelines and best practices.
  6. Coordinate Procurement Accounts for Acquired Properties:
    • Facilitate the setup of procurement accounts for newly acquired properties, collaborating with vendors to ensure a seamless transition.
  7. Implement F&B Cost Control Measures:
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize food and beverage costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track usage patterns, and analyze variances to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to minimize waste, optimize portion sizes, and streamline purchasing processes.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms, ensuring cost-effective procurement of F&B items.
  • Regularly review menu pricing and profitability, adjusting as needed to maximize revenue and margins while remaining competitive in the market.
  • Utilize software systems or tools to track and analyze F&B costs, providing regular reports and insights to management.
  • Train staff on cost control procedures, emphasizing the importance of portion control, inventory management, and waste reduction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market fluctuations, and regulatory changes that may impact F&B costs, adjusting strategies accordingly to mitigate risks and seize opportunities for savings.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), and Value Analysis principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, professional phone etiquette, and a solid grasp of accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with a strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Excellent organizational skills, a collaborative teamwork approach, and effective negotiating abilities.

 

This position is based in the CoralTree Home Office in Englewood, CO.

Salary range: $130,00 - $150,000/yr. + bonus
