Overview

As the Marina Lead, you will play a pivotal role in directing day-to-day operations at the marina. Collaborating closely with the Activities Manager, you will oversee waterfront staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily operations at the marina, ensuring efficiency and adherence to protocols
  • Assist in training waterfront staff on various daily and weekly operations
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of opening and closing procedures for the marina property
  • Provide clear direction to employees for their daily duties and responsibilities
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as necessary to maintain operational readiness
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper fueling of vessels and the marina property
  • Assist guests with boat docking and tie-up service needs, ensuring a seamless experience
  • Review and reinforce safety procedures, coordinating with staff to prioritize guest well-being
  • Engage with guests to solicit feedback and ensure their satisfaction
  • Deliver excellent customer service to guests, including those from Poison Creek, waterfront visitors, resort guests, homeowners, and colleagues
  • Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as required
  • CPR and First Aid Certifications are advantageous
  • A clean driving record is essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to effectively present to the Activities Manager
  • Strong teamwork and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of various watercraft and related activities is preferred
  • Proficiency in boat trailer handling is beneficial
