As a nail technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nail care services to clients, including manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, nail art, and other nail treatments. You will ensure that clients receive personalized attention and leave the salon feeling satisfied with their nail care experience.

  • Monitoring the schedule for your appointments, assisting guests with rebooking to retain consistent scheduling
  • Preparation of your work space, 30 minutes prior to first appointment
  • Perform manicures and pedicures, including shaping, filing, and buffing nails
  • Apply nail polish, gel polish, acrylics, or other nail art services, including designs, stamps, and embellishments, that complement their style and preferences
  • Provide nail treatments such as hand and foot massages, exfoliation, and moisturizing treatments
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards according to state regulations for all nail tools, equipment, and workstations
  • Upsell additional services and retail products to clients
  • Monitor needed supplies for nail services
  • Assist with laundry
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest nail trends, techniques, products, regulations and education
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals
  • Handle client inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and courteous manner


  • Valid Idaho Nail Technician License
  • Proven experience as a nail technician in a salon or spa setting
  • Knowledge and attention to detail & precision in nail treatments, of nail care products, tools, and techniques
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and some holidays
  • Strong sanitation and hygiene practices
  • Creativity and artistic flair for nail art designs
  • Physical stamina to sit, stand or bend for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • In performing duties of manicures, time spent seated at a professional manicure table is required. In performing duties of pedicures, time spent being bent over a clients’ feet from a professional pedicure seat is required
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge
  • You will be working with 4 to 6 co-workers in the immediate environment. Must be capable of communicating effectively with peers and management as well as maintaining a positive and professional attitude among our team
  • Ability to keep a well-groomed, professional appearance


  • Ability to perform nail services on diverse clients


  • Maintain timesheet of hours on provided timeclock devices


  • Have reliable transportation to and from work
