Overview

We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Overnight Front Desk Agent at the Ka'anapali Ali'i located in Lahaina, Hawaii. No prior experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

The Overnight Front Desk Agent provides record account reconciliation services, reporting, and responsible for all front desk, and PBX duties during their shift.  They are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of property services while establishing a positive initial contact with our owners and guests and ensuring that the expectations of the owners/guests are exceeded during the check-in and check-out process.

Qualifications

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be computer literate.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, work with minimal supervision, and be pro-active in your approach to problem solving
  • Able to walk and stand throughout the shift
  • Maintains contact with security officer to communicate emergency situations as needed.
  • Answers the telephone and provides reception for the front desk which includes check-in and check-out services.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, room assignments, and payments
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
  • Assists guests and owners professionally and cordially at all times.
