Overview

The HOA Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep, maintenance, and repair of common areas, facilities, and equipment within the Homeowners Association (HOA). This role plays a crucial part in maintaining a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing environment for all residents.

 

Salary: $21.00/hour

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular inspections of common areas, including but not limited to walls, hallways, structure condition, lighting and HVAC
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
  • Perform routine inspections of common areas to identify and address any safety hazards
  • Makes minor repairs on electrical or replaces wiring and fixtures
  • Makes and repairs dry wall, counters, benches, partitions and other wooden structures, using saws, braces, bits and the necessary tools
  • Paint walls, ceiling, woodwork and fixtures of establishment
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned
  • Comply with all Suncadia policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the HOA board, property manager, and other stakeholders to address maintenance priorities

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance-related fields is a plus
  • 1-2 years experience performing a variety of maintenance activities
  • Availability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • 2 years experience painting and using carpenter tools.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools such as carpenter’s, electrician’s, plumber’s and painter’s tools
