Job Summary:

The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring smooth operations at the front desk during overnight hours. This role serves as the primary point of contact for guests, providing exceptional service and assistance with their needs. Key responsibilities include greeting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling billing and transactions, and maintaining accurate records of room availability. The Night Auditor also communicates any special guest requirements to relevant departments and resolves any issues that arise in the absence of management. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, serving as the overnight point of contact.
  • Complete and sign off on checklists before submitting them to the Front Office Manager.
  • Organize and prepare the front desk for next-day arrivals and departures.
  • Ensure accurate billing for packages and groups, striving to exceed guest expectations.
  • Register guests, establish credit, note special requests, and gather accurate guest information.
  • Communicate any special guest needs to relevant departments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property amenities and special events.
  • Handle transactions and manage the house bank according to established policies and procedures.
  • Keep accurate records of room availability and key control.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve issues in the absence of management.
  • Keep the front desk and colleague areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Prior hospitality or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Springer Miller Property Management System is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and follow detailed instructions.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent listening skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Team-oriented with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Wage Information:
The hourly wage for this position is starting at $21.00. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.
