Hotel Polaris is seeking an exceptional Spa Director to join our team and play a vital role in shaping the success of Hotel Polaris, an instant icon on the hospitality landscape of Colorado Springs. As the Spa Director, you will be an integral member of the team that leads the pre-opening efforts and stewards the dynamic relationships across all key stakeholders including, Ownership, CoralTree Hospitality and Asset Management to ensure strategic alignment towards the hotel opening and beyond.  Your efforts significantly influence the unique and distinctive experiences we seek to deliver to our guests and team members alike. • Responsible for all phases of Spa services, cost control, and personnel.
• Collaborate with related departments to communicate services, procedures, and specials in a fiscally responsible and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal safety regulations as it pertains to the equipment and materials used in the Spa.
• Recruit, supervise, and retain Spa team members.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and exercise disciplinary action.
• Develop technical, operational, and safety training for employees to ensure that staff is working within OSHA, company safety, state, and federal guidelines for safe working conditions.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records and completes all required departmental reporting.
• Develop guest spa packages and special membership promotions and packages.
• Assist in promoting and marketing the Spa to hotel guests.

• A college graduate, preferably with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) to four (4) years previous spa management experience.
• Experience in a comparable AAA Four Diamond/Four Star hotel or higher is highly desired. 
• Experienced in supervising and administering sales and marketing and/or spa operations.
• An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.

Salary range: $75,000 - $95,000/yr.
