Responsible for applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings and other structures in accordance with building codes and company maintenance policy. This position will also perform drywall repair. The Painter shall always strive to provide exceptional service to both internal/external guests and team members.

• Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and repair surfaces to ensure they are ready for painting or drywall application.
• Mixing Materials: Mix paints, varnishes, and other materials to achieve the desired color and consistency.
• Application: Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Install and repair drywall, including taping, mudding, and sanding.
• Detail Work: Fill cracks and holes, apply primers, and ensure even coverage. Conceal imperfections and smooth surfaces for a flawless finish.
• Makes minor repairs on electrical (replace covers)
• Makes and repairs counters, benches, partitions and other wooden structures, using saws, braces, bits and other carpenter’s tools
• Paint walls, floors, Seals, woodwork and fixtures of establishment, using spray gun and brushes
• Replaces and repairs brick and plaster walls
• Performs other work related duties as assigned
• Comply with all Suncadia policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Proven experience as a painter and drywall repair specialist with knowledge of various techniques.1-2 years experience
• Precision in applying finishes and ensuring high-quality work.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding, and handle physical tasks.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools such as carpenter’s, painter, drywall.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
