Hotel Polaris is seeking an exceptional Housekeeping Manager to join our team and play a vital role in shaping the success of Hotel Polaris, an instant icon on the hospitality landscape of Colorado Springs. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be an integral member of the team that leads the pre-opening efforts and stewards the dynamic relationships across all key stakeholders including, Ownership, CoralTree Hospitality and Asset Management to ensure strategic alignment towards the hotel opening and beyond.  Your efforts significantly influence the unique and distinctive experiences we seek to deliver to our guests and team members alike. • Be an expert and demonstrate knowledge of all services/features, hours of operations, room types, daily house count and expected arrivals/departures, room availability status, scheduled in-house group activities to anticipate and respond to guest inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Prepare and properly distribute room assignment sheets to scheduled staff and ensure assignments are completed at the end of each shift.
• Effectively communicate changes of assignment sheets as they arise throughout the shift.
• Assign and maintain accurate distribution records of keys and communication equipment (e.g. radio, beepers, phones, etc.).
• Consistently perform inspections and maintain safety and cleanliness of guest rooms, public space and heart-of-house areas.
• Complete daily Quality Assurance Inspections of the Public Areas as well as guest floors.
• Instills a calm, organized approach when interacting in stressful situations.
• Approach internal and external guest opportunities with a sense of heartfelt care and urgency; provide prompt follow-up to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
• Ensure that sufficient staffing is present to meet the daily business demands.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and follow proper protocol to secure and protect pertinent data.
• Foster and maintain strong, positive relationships with team members across all departments through communication and regular face-to-face interaction.
• Assist management to recruit, hire, train and successfully support and manage the talent of all new and existing team members.
• Assist with department inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies and product.
• Oversee the Turndown program for the Club Floor on PM service.
• Fulfill the duties of the department head in absence of the Director of Housekeeping.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED or minimum of three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience in a high volume setting preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience in a AAA Four Diamond/Four Star quality organization preferred.
• Previous experience with Windows, Office, and property management systems highly desirable.
• Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write in the basic English language.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, be highly organized, and detailed.
• Ability to work as a team-player and accept assignments from multiple individuals.
• Must be available to work, varied shifts and flexible schedules.
